Financial Services/ Credit Card Industries	Project Management: Managed the project life-cycle on a very large, multi-year international data warehouse implementation. Primary coordinator of activities from opportunity evaluation to post-deployment assessment. Requirements and Design: Developed requirements deliverables and designed solutions for several subject matters for an international data warehouse. Application Architecture: Co-architected solution to integrate and rehost an existing data warehouse from an international organization into the enterprise data warehouse infrastructure. In addition to the data warehouse and ETL infrastructures, solution included the reengineering of the campaign management solution. ETL Application Architecture : Mentored ETL development teams to establish the ETL architecture. Infrastructure Rehosting Management : Managed the engineering, facilities buildout and application rehosting of several very large data warehousing infrastructures. Data Migration Services : Led the technical engineering tasks to design the migration solution and lead the migration of applications and data from legacy infrastructures to newly implemented server and storage infrastructures. Business Analytics Framework Architecture : Collaborated with engineering and vendor staff to implement a new business intelligence reporting infrastructure. Project Management: Managed the initial phase of a Collections application which included the implementation of telephony software and a predictive automated dialer for call management. Data Architecture: Developed the initial data model for a re-engineered Collections application. Post-Deployment Assessment and Tuning: Led the post-deployment evaluation of a re-engineered Collections application including database and application performance measurements.
Airline Industry	Integration and System Test Coordination and Execution: Designed, coordinated and led the large-scale system and integration testing of a major release of a highly scalable revenue management application.  In addition to regression and integration testing with over a dozen application teams, conducted “Year 2000” testing on a system-wide scale. Metadata Reporting Infrastructure : Designed the software architecture and developed the ETL process to capture metadata from various sources including data models and warehouse ETL processes into a metadata repository used by end-users. Design and Development: Designed and developed the server process to archive terabytes of flight and passenger data as part of the re-engineering effort for a scalable revenue management application. Profitability Data Mart Design : Designed a prototype data mart to assist with measuring profitability of demand forecasting strategies. Reporting Requirements Gathering : Defined and collected reporting requirements and designed reports against a data warehouse. Played instrumental role in the initial tool selection process as well as source capture strategies for flight information. Development Mentoring: Mentored less senior developers and team leaders on the practice of utilizing disciplined design methodologies. ETL Infrastructure Architecture: For the initial creation of the enterprise data warehouse, designed and built the environments for the ETL processing, evaluated and recommend numerous tools, established and implemented strategies to extract and load information into the warehouse, designed the process to capture metadata, refined the data model and resolved data quality issues. Application Packaging: Supported a re-engineered scalable application.  Packaged the components , ensured the completeness of all deliverables, regression tested every release and organized turnover to the appropriate client teams. Design and Development: Designed, built and implemented software on several server based projects.
Insurance Industries	Application Development Process Management : Managed several data warehousing projects that supported life insurance analytical functions. One of the key projects included the introduction of general ledger and accounts payable financial data. Testing Strategy Design and Coordination: Designed and coordinated the system and user acceptance testing for several major releases of a data warehouse that supported life insurance analytical functions.  In addition, designed and implemented detailed procedures and automated checkpoints to ensure data quality in the data warehouse. Requirements Gathering : Completed analysis and requirements for transitioning PeopleSoft to SAP. Completed analysis of the client/server applications to allow capture of all insurance and financial data into the data warehouse.  Application Architecture: Led the design of several client/server applications to support operational functions against the data warehouse that supported life insurance analytical functions. Data Architecture: Assisted data architects in the design of several data marts that supported that supported life insurance analytical functions. Integration Management: Led the integration of technical and business tasks to implement a new invoice and claims management application for a profitable commercial and professional liability insurance company. ETL Framework Architecture and Implementation : Designed the ETL architecture to capture client/server data into the data warehouse and led the design of the software architecture to share financial information between SAP and the data warehouse. Design and Development: Designed, built and implemented all client/server ETL jobs on the data warehouse that supported life insurance analytical functions. Design and Development: Designed and developed the key highly technical UNIX server components that allowed for the introduction of the first client/server application data into the warehouse that supported life insurance analytical functions.
Consumer Products and Retail Industries	Technical Project Managerment for Financial Data Mart: Served as a Technical Project Manager and led the effort to build a financial data mart and an MOLAP reporting infrastructure for international consumer products profitability analysis. Reporting Solution Architecture: Led the technical evaluation and proof-of-concept for an SAP BIW reporting solution against financial information. Tool Evaluation : Completed a thorough evaluation of Asset Management software to be utilized by infrastructure groups. Design and Development: Developed numerous components for the first release of a scalable, re-engineered data capture architecture that supported credit data collection functions.  Helped build the low-level architecture and involved in the evaluation and bench-marking of the potential parallel database vendors for the project. Design and Development: For a major international, consumer products company, analyzed the source system and built the stored procedures to capture financial, customer, and product information for the warehouse and filled an open position to design and build the business intelligence reporting infrastructure.  In addition to these extra efforts, designed and built several graphical user interfaces to allow users to maintain code table data for the data warehouse. Data Architecture : Developed the data models for a major tobacco company that would support the complicated functions of dynamic customer target marketing and management and tracking of government litigation. Design and Development: Managed the design and development of all client/server components for a new target marketing application for a major tobacco company. Testing Coordination: Led the integration testing for the first release of a financial data mart that supported international consumer products profitability analysis.  Deployment and Post-Deployment: Responsible for the quality testing of all deliverables for a major retailer. Led the proper turnover procedures to migrate components to production, evaluated the performance of all deliverables and managed modifications to the application. Techinical Development Management: Managed the development and support of two mainframe online applications for a major national retail company.
